Christus Evangelical Lutheran Church exists to give glory to our risen Lord Jesus Christ by proclaiming His message of Salvation to all people.
Our Vision:
To accomplish this purpose we will:
- Join together in worship, where God serves us with his Word and Sacraments, and in response to this grace we praise and worship God, proclaiming what God has done for us. Because of this, we will strive to conduct our worship services with excellence.
- Continue to strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ through lifelong study of the Word of God so that the Holy Spirit can increase our faith and understanding of Jesus’ love for us.
- Seize every opportunity to witness the name of Jesus Christ in our community and in the world.
- Use our God-given gifts for service in Christ’s kingdom, while helping our members to discover their God-given talents and gifts so that they might utilize them in service for the Lord’s work.
- Strive to imitate the love of Jesus by reaching out to those who have not heard about Jesus’ love for them. Our ultimate goal is to get people in contact with the gospel.
